Double row deep groove ball bearing

A double row deep groove ball bearing is used when reliable performance is needed at higher speeds under mainly radial loads, with moderate axial loads in both directions.

Engineered for high-speed and radial/axial load support

A double row deep groove ball bearing is typically used in applications where reliable performance is needed under mainly radial loads that range from medium to relatively high. Because of its design, it can also handle moderate axial loads in both directions, making it versatile for general-purpose rotating machinery.

It is often chosen when high rotational speeds are required, since it operates smoothly with low friction and generates relatively little heat. Its compact and straightforward construction also makes it easy to integrate into different mechanical systems without adding unnecessary complexity.

This type of bearing is not ideal in every situation. When radial loads become extremely high, its capacity may not be sufficient. It is also unsuitable for designs where shaft misalignment is present, since it is intended to operate under well-aligned conditions.

Use Double row deep groove ball bearings when you need:

  • Mainly radial loads (medium to relatively high)
  • Moderate axial loads in both directions
  • High rotational speeds
  • A compact and simple design
  • Low friction and low heat generation

Typical applications

  • Electric motors
  • Fans and blowers
  • Pumps
  • General machinery with high speed and moderate loads

Less suitable when:

  • Radial loads are extremely high
  • Significant shaft misalignment is expected
Extreme Stainless Steel Mounted Ball Units with double-row deep-groove ball bearings are designed for fixed bearing applications where precise alignment, rigidity and reliable performance are required.
