Double row spherical roller insert with set-screw locking on the inner ring. Combines the self-alignment and radial load capacity of the spherical roller family with fast shaft assembly, positive retention against light axial displacement, and serviceable replacement on standard shafting.

Widely used on food processing, marine, and general industrial drives where rapid mounting, sealed AISI 316 stainless construction, and the ability to service in place are all priorities. (Internal code: Type TV.)

Mounting, maintenance, and selection guidance

Choose this insert when:

• Standard ground or commercial shafting is used (no journal preparation)
• Frequent service intervals or in-place replacement are required
• Self-alignment and set-screw locking are both needed in the same unit
• Food processing, marine deck equipment, conveyors, and packaging lines

Consider an alternative when: significant axial loads dominate (look at the tapered roller variants), or when set-screw access is blocked from the standard side (compare the reversed-lock variants).

Mounting: tighten set screws to the values in the mounting instructions. At service intervals, inspect for corrosion or fretting on the shaft under the screw point and dress the surface before reassembly.
